German Champions chip Freestyle Water Jump.

With a double cork Johannes Drexl jumped his way to victory in the knockout jump for the German championship and finished second in the overall standings, just beaten. Third place went to Markus Androsch from Austria. The winner was Christian Jenny from Austria.

After an exciting qualification with 33 top athletes from Germany and Austria, the novel Ko. Jumping (man against man) produced interesting pairings. The local freeskiers took top places with Alex Scherlin (5th place) and Christoph Koller (6th place) in this contest filled with top jumpers!

Despite pouring rain, the spark of enthusiasm quickly warmed up the spectators. In the thin women's field the Austrian Claudia Kiobasa won ahead of the German Janine Quaas. The rain made the Oberaudorf band "Nevermind" forget. The band around lead singer Vanessa Bruhn rocked the athletes and spectators live and created a great atmosphere in the warm rain.
