Dry Slope Drain Fleece (DSDF) - Perfect ground cover for ski & tubing resorts
Clean ground cover for tubing tracks and alpine dry slope areas.
For tubing facilities and mat ski areas, a major problem is the drainage of rain and melt water. Our new development "Dry Slope Drain Fleece" is a hollow nap drainage element and has a friction-enhancing spin spray application on the underside. On earth materials and other substrates, the product stays in place without additional fastening, even in slope areas, and ensures the removal of water through small channels. It can be supplied in rolls of max 55m length and 4.95m width. It is possible to cut the width according to the needs.
The Skitrax mats are fixed with soil nails through the drain element. This allows a few drops of water to go down, but they do not leave erosion marks. The DSDF has a 1mm thick fleece that is waterproof and UV resistant. Our products are CE certified and therefore comply with the European Construction Products Regulation.

Hundreds of skiers are expected on the opening weekend. The 5-star Emily Sport Hotel in Lviv will open the summer season on the largest alpine dry ski slope in the world next weekend. After a successful second winter season with abundant snow, which began in December 2022 and ended at the end of March 2023, extensive revision work was carried out on the chairlift and snowmaking systems. In addition, the alpine Dry Ski Slope was cleaned by Skitrax World and prepared for the new summer ski season. First test runs on alpine skis and snowboards were successfully carried out.
Sports complex "Hotel Emily Resort" opened. Since mid-June 2022, the new 5-star Hotel Resort Emily has been open near the major Ukrainian city of Lviv (Lviv). It is a quick drive on the newly built road from the city center to the small, picturesque Vynnyky mountain area 4 km away. From the airport it is only about 10 km. Around an artificially created lake a modern 5 star luxury hotel with 6 (!) restaurants, event and conference halls, many smaller rooms for meetings, a water park, island with beach, swimming pools with large SPA & sauna landscape and an amphitheater was created.
250m long tubing track with 7 lanes. In addition to the 6 lanes on the 250 long tubing track, there is another tubing track for children. Spectacular for a tubing track is the electronic Axess entrance area. People can buy a chip card with different lane rides in the service area and then elegantly enter the tubing lane through the entrance area. There, two comfortable conveyor belts await them. The first conveyor belt leads directly to the entrance for the children's tubing track. Here the kids shred down the tube through two curves with Tubtrax sliding mats into the valley.
Dry Slope ski area with professional entrance gate. When skiers glide from the worldwide largest alpine dry slope to the lift entrance, a new Axess entrance gate awaits. With the appropriate lift ticket, the gate opens and the skier & boarder glides on the Slopetrax mats to the 4-person chairlift entrance.
Skiing and Tubing Side by Side in Oberwiesenthal. In Sommer 2022, the first HYBRID alpine dry slope with tubing track in Germany will be built at the Elldus Hotel Resort in Oberwiesenthal (GER). A 30m x 20m space of slopetrax mats will be installed on 600 m2. Primarily, children's ski courses will be held here in the summer. "Bring kids on ski" is the motto. A conveyor belt will bring the kids back up to the start of the slope. The conveyor belt will also be in use in winter, as the entire dry slope area will remain in place all year round. Oberwiesental thus offers skiing safety even around Christmas - on snow or on mats when temperatures do not permit snowmaking.
