Mt. Hutt builds new chair lift
Nor' West Express is being rebuilt.
The Nor' West Express chairlift is located in the Mt. Hutt ski resort in New Zealand. Only 2 hours drive away from Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island. After 30 years of operation, a new modern chairlift is being built. The existing Skitrax mats for the bottom and top stations are in the process of being removed.
By April/May 2021 at the latest, the new lift should be built and the Lifttrax sliding mats suitably reinstalled. Because in June the first snow of the new season will already fall.
