It would be so easy with the Lifttrax sliding mats. Many ski resorts with T-bar lifts below approx. 1000m have had to close their lifts due to a lack of snow. In most cases there is still enough snow to ski on the snow-covered sides of the lift, but the snow in the lift track has melted, so skiing has had to be stopped. It didn't have to be! Clever ski resorts have already covered the lift track with our Lifttrax SP skid mats before the first snowfall. First cover the ground with a fleece, then place the mats on top and fix them to the ground with pegs. This means that everything can be quickly dismantled again in spring and stored on pallets.

Straight from the cable car to the piste on Lifttrax sliding mats. The new cable car on the Ochsenkopf in the Fichtelgebirge (GER) will go into operation on 22.12.2023. The installation on the north side of the Ochsenkopf near the municipality of Bischofsgrün comprises 40 ten-passenger gondolas, which are also suitable for families with baby carriages, wheelchair users and monoskiers. The new cable car allows visitors to reach the 1024-metre-high mountain more comfortably, quickly and barrier-free. The gondolas have a transport capacity of around 2000 people per hour. Construction work on the cable car began in March 2023 to replace the old 32-year-old cable car. A particularly helpful attraction will be installed at the cable car exit. A wide track with the fast Lifttrax SP glide mats will be installed to enable monoskiers to glide quickly onto the piste with the skibob immediately after exiting. This allows monoskiers to glide optimally from the cable car exit to the piste.

Winter sports as an attractive year-round offer. Will there soon be alpine theme parks near major cities? It would be feasible in Zuerich, Hamburg, Vienna, Paris or Milan, but also in Singapore, Djakarta, Beijing, Los Angeles, Nairobi, Saigon and Santiago de Chile. When the snow is replaced by Skitrax sliding mats, nothing stands in the way of sliding, carving, gliding, lifting, drifting.
