Ein sonniger Samstag, eine riesige Hüpfburg-Stadt und eine Torwand, die man nur mit Schwung erreicht – das Tubing-Torwandschießen-Event kann an den kommenden Wochenende beweisen, dass es jetzt zur WM Zeit der ultimative Freizeitspaß für Groß und Klein ist.
Das Konzept war so einfach wie genial: Die Teilnehmer rutschten in speziellen Epic Tubing-Reifen eine speziell angelegte Rutschbahn ("Tubtrax"-Kunststoffmatten) hinunter. Kurz vor dem Ende der Bahn hieß es dann: Volle Konzentration! Mit dem Fuß musste ein bereitliegender Fußball im Rutschen auf eine riesige Torwand gezielt werden.
So könnte ein Bericht in einer Tageszeitung am nächsten Tag aussehen:
Schon am frühen Morgen füllte sich das Festivalgelände mit erwartungsfrohen Familien. Die Atmosphäre war elektrisierend. Links und rechts der Rutschbahn bildeten die Zuschauer ein Spalier, schwenkten internationale Flaggen und feuerten jeden Teilnehmer lauthals an. Da gab es den sechsjährigen Max, der mit einem kühnen Kick den Ball genau in den Pokal-Kreis traf und sich einen riesigen Plüschbären als Preis sicherte. Aber auch die Väter und Mütter ließen es sich nicht nehmen, ihr fußballerisches Talent im Sitzen unter Beweis zu stellen, oft begleitet von Lachanfällen, wenn der Ball doch eher in Richtung Zuschauer als zur Torwand flog.
„Es ist die perfekte Mischung“, sagte eine begeisterte Mutter. „Die Kinder können sich auf der Bahn austoben, und der Wettkampfgedanke mit der Torwand macht es auch für die Erwachsenen spannend. Und danach können wir uns alle bei den Essensständen stärken.“ Neben dem Tubing-Spektakel lockten Hüpfburgen, Kinderschminken und Live-Musik, sodass für jedes Familienmitglied etwas geboten war.
Wo könnte so ein Event durchgeführt werden?
Ein solches Event benötigt eine ausreichend große Freifläche mit leichtem Gefälle für die Rutschbahn, ist aber ansonsten sehr flexibel:
- In Freizeitparks und Erlebnisressorts: Als temporäres Sommer-Highlight oder permanente Attraktion, die Wintersport-Feeling in die warme Jahreszeit bringt.
- Auf Stadt- oder Dorffesten: Als einzigartige Hauptattraktion, die viele Besucher anlockt und für Gesprächsstoff sorgt.
- In Ski-Gebieten im Sommer: Um die bestehende Infrastruktur zu nutzen und Touristen eine neue, spektakuläre Aktivität zu bieten.
- Auf großen Sport- oder Eventgeländen: Zum Beispiel als Fan-Meilen-Aktivität vor Fußballspielen oder anderen Großevents.

a goal wall that can only be reached with enough momentum—this coming weekend, the Tubing Goal-Shooting Event will prove that it’s the ultimate recreational fun for young and old alike during the World Cup.
The concept was as simple as it was ingenious: Participants slid down a specially constructed slide (made of “Tubtrax” plastic mats) in special Epic Tubing rings. Just before the end of the slide, it was time to focus! While sliding, they had to use their foot to aim a soccer ball lying nearby at a giant goal wall.
Here's what a report in a daily newspaper might look like the next day:
Early in the morning, the festival grounds were already filling up with excited families. The atmosphere was electric. To the left and right of the slide, spectators formed a guard of honor, waving international flags and cheering loudly for every participant. There was six-year-old Max, who with a bold kick sent the ball right into the trophy circle and
secured a giant stuffed bear as a prize. But the moms and dads didn’t miss the chance to show off their soccer skills while seated, often accompanied by fits of laughter when the ball flew toward the spectators rather than the goal wall.
“It’s the perfect mix,” said an enthusiastic
mother. “The kids can let off steam on the slide, and the competitive element with the goal wall makes it exciting for the adults, too. And afterward, we can all refuel at the food stands.” In addition to the tubing spectacle, there were bounce houses, face painting, and live music, so there was something for every member of the family.
Where could such an event be held?
An event like this requires a sufficiently large open area with a gentle slope for the slide, but is otherwise very flexible:
- At amusement parks and adventure resorts: As a temporary summer highlight or a permanent attraction that brings a winter sports vibe to the warmer months.
- At city or village festivals: As a unique main attraction that draws many visitors and provides a talking point.
- In ski areas during the summer: To utilize existing infrastructure and offer tourists a new, spectacular activity.
- At large sports or event venues: For example, as a fan zone activity before soccer games or other major events.
