When the kart track is created with the side mounts, the mats are placed on the track. They are put together in such a way that the entire karting track is covered with the mats. At the start area there are usually 2 karts next to each other. In order to mark the starting position better, colored mats (e.g. red) can be used to lay a visual aid where the 4 tires are. Colored mats could also be laid out at the side borders. This effect can also be achieved by using different colored (white and red) fixed safety boundaries.

In order to significantly reduce the friction between the KartTrax mats and the tires, we have developed the ecological lubricant "Slide Liquid". After the mats have been installed on the floor, this lubricant is pierced onto the mats with a so-called painter's brush. Thus there is a sliding film on the mats and the karts can slide and drift perfectly - with little friction. For longer distances, we recommend laying out some fleece (soaked in the liquid). Thus, when driving over this fleece, new lubricant is repeatedly distributed on the track through the tires.

Gasoline karts and/or electric karts can easily drive on the KartTrax track.

The operator of a kart track has to take into account the same duties of care as when operating a kart track without the KartTrax mats. This also applies to the safety devices, e-charging stations or refueling, regulations for indoor use, if necessary helmets, etc. We will be happy to send you further information on request.

Indoor: Can be installed on wood, asphalt or cement. Depending on requirements, a floor fleece is laid underneath. A (eg temporary) installation on a marble floor is also possible. A double-sided adhesive film is sufficient for this, which is laid out on which the Karttrax sliding mats are then laid.

Our ECO lubricant "Slide Liquid" ensures low friction and excellent sliding and drifting with the kart. Depending on requirements, fleece strips are laid out on the track and soaked with the liquid. In this way, the karts independently transport and distribute the liquid over the entire route - for consistent, good gliding properties.
