In addition to skiers or boarders, the jumps can also be constructed for bikers, skateboarders or fast rides with tubing tyres. Recreational water jumps usually have 2-10 different kickers. Depending on the sport, these kickers are designed with the appropriate angle of inclination for skiers, snowboarders, bikers, inline skaters, body sliders and tubers.
On the kicker for freestylers / slopestylers, jumps (somersaults, corks, backplips, 360 etc.) are trained with skis or boards, which are used on the Big Air jumps in winter.

Großes Finale an der Golden Coast in Australien. Zum ersten Mal fand am 09. September 2023 ein FIS Freestyle Ski Summer Grand Prix auf der größten Freestyle Wasserschanzen der Welt, trax Gleitmaten von Skitrax World im australischen Brisbane statt. Hier wurde in den letzten Jahren ca. 1800m2 Watertrax Gleitmatten ausgelegt. Wegen der warmen Temperaturen, kann auf dieser Anlage das ganze Jahr trainiert werden. Kein Wunder, dass die australischen Freestyler zu den besten der Welt gehören.

For the first time, an FIS Freestyle Ski Summer Grand Prix series will be held this summer on three of the biggest freestlye water ramps in the world. It started in Mettmenstetten, Switzerland, and now this weekend in Park City, Utah. Here, the skiers jump from a water jump at a height of 35m into a pool of water. Speeds of up to 80 km/h are achieved on the approx. 60-degree hill table up to 20m into the air! Pure spectacle. The next stop will be on September 9th at the other end of the world, at the biggest freestyle water jump in the world, in Brisbane (AUS); also the proven Watertrax glide mats.

Erstmals wird in diesem Sommer auf drei der größten Freestlye Wasserschanzen der Welt eine FIS Freestyle Ski Summer Grand Prix Serie durchgeführt. Start war in Mettmenstetten in der Schweiz und nun am Wochenende in Park City (Utah). Hier wird von einer Wasserschanzen in 35m Höhe in ein Wasser Pool gesprungen. Olympia Teilnehmer bei der Eröffnungsfeier dabei. 3. Juni 2023 fand die Eröffnungsfeier der neuen Freestyle Wasserschanze in Bristol Mountain (Staat New York) statt. Viel Prominenz (auch Olympiateilnehmer) fanden sich ein und bewunderten diese einzigartige Konstruktion mit dem automatisch kippbaren Schanzentisch. Auch viele jungen Athleten nutzten die Gelegenheit, die ersten Sprunge auf den Watertrax Matten zu absolvieren. Die Wasserschanze ist den ganzen Sommer bis zum Oktober geöffnete.
