Ski jumping hill landing area
Same movement pattern as on snow
This new development brings new momentum and a significant increase in safety for ski jumpers on ski jumps in the summer.
The new mats celebrated their world premiere in Jämsänkoski, Finland. Additional ski jumping facilities were later installed in Bonn and Oberaudorf.
International ski jumpers, coaches, and officials are thrilled and praise the landing area as being “just like on snow in winter!” Many large and small ski jumping facilities in European countries are looking forward to using it in the summer. The ski jumpers enjoy high safety thanks to the gliding action in the landing area, just like in winter. The risk of falling is low because the movement is similar to skiing on snow. The movement pattern is the same as in winter.
The FIS (International Ski Federation) Materials Commission has certified these mats for use on all ski jumping hills worldwide.
Summary:
- Perfect glide from the ski jump slope
- Same movement pattern as on snow
- Can be left lying around over winter
- Secure attachment to the ground
- Suitable for small and large ski jumps
- Low operating costs
- Available in various colors
- FIS certified
