German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) with “GERMAN PAVILION” Skitrax World presents itself for the first time at SEA trade fair in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). US Ski Resort Winter Park with Colorado Adventure Park The first 190m long hybrid tubing track in the USA opens. A skate park in Berlin opens its own slopestyle park for snowboarders and skiers. Freestyle water jumps in Austria (Hohenems, Förderlach) install Watertrax mats. Mega water jumps in Park City (USA) and Minsk (BLA) expand their capacity with Watertrax mats. The Interalpin trade fair in Innsbruck (AUT) is a great success. New, innovative EPIC II Tubing tire collection presented . 2024

The largest tubing track (2x100m) in all of Africa has been built in Clarens (South Africa). Innovative Plug-in Break / Plug-in Speed for tubing tracks for the first time in May NSAA trade fair in Frisco (Texas) Featured. Large amusement park in Poland opens new tubing run. 2023

With Switzerland's 100m longest Christmas tubing track Opened in Olten (CH). First hybrid mat ski slope/tubing track opened in Germany (Oberwiesenthal). World first: ECO mats are made from over 80% recycled raw materials and are 100% recyclable. Pioneers in the global recycling loop. The first artificial ski slope in Bavaria opened in the Hocheck ski area in Oberaudorf (GER). A huge media frenzy ensued, with all the major TV stations and press outlets in attendance. TV reports attracted over 15 million viewers and many millions of readers of top newspapers and magazines. New tubing runs in Western Ukraine. Construction of a multi-lane tubing run in Wertach (GER). New double tubing run in Tijuana (MEX). For the first time “IAAPA - Worldwide Exhibitor” in Asia (Singapore), Europe (Vienna) and America (Orlando). Also trade fair stands in Riyadh (SAU), Savannah (USA) and Interalpin (AUT).

2022

New development of Slide Liquid Wax For alpine and Nordic skiing on artificial ski slopes. First Hybrid mat ski slope & tubing track Construction will begin in Oberwiesenthal, Germany, this autumn. We are new equipment member of the NSAA (National Ski Area Association), the association of alpine ski resorts in the USA. In Dubai A large shopping center with a Tubing run with jump into an airbag opened. A 3-lane tubing track in Missouri (USA) Construction will begin in the spring. The freestyle facility in Minsk (BY) will be expanded with Watertrax.

2021

For the first time X-Mas Tubtrax Tubing Run with 2 x 70m length in Ireland. With With a total area of 19,000m2, it became the largest in Europe and one of the world's largest alpine mat ski slopes and tubing runs by the end of the year. Built in Ukraine. For the first time, all materials for installation and operation are being supplied by our company. First, very successful trade fair appearance at the I AAPA trade fair in Orlando (USA). Amusement parks are always in demand. So are indoor tubing runs with our Epic Tubing tires. There's a surprisingly high demand for small "ski at home" backyards. People are turning their own backyards into slopestyle parks. Even operators of large ski resorts are now looking for/finding an alternative to a snowless winter. Malbun Mountain Railways (Liechtenstein) uses Lifttrax. New Christmas Tubtrax tubing tracks in Germany, Portugal, Ireland and France. New Ice Karting Tracks are being developed in the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Ukraine, Romania and the USA.

2020

World's Largest Circus "Circus Krone" A 50-meter-long tubing track is being built in the winter quarters. A mega freestyle water jump in Brisbane, featuring approximately 2,000 square meters of mats, has been operational since summer. Summer also saw the launch of a new development and repositioning of the company's strategy. New products are being introduced for various sectors. Customer support and services are being expanded. SlopeTrax, LiftTrax, NordicTrax, TubTrax, WaterTrax, and KartTrax are the new core product lines. Mountain railways (including Kitzbühel, Söll, and Lenk) are expanding their lift access installations. Novel tubing tracks for campsites New indoor ski slopes and go-kart tracks have been developed. New ski areas and kart tracks are being built in the USA and Europe. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting leisure activities worldwide. We have also adjusted our production and sales accordingly.

2019

Winter Tubing Park in Bogota (COL) opens. Top ski resorts in New Zealand are also buying mats for lift areas. The world's largest freestyle water jump will be under construction in Brisbane (AUS) this fall. New water jumps in Bled (SVN) and Hohenems (AUT). Many new tubing runs in Spain, Portugal, Romania, and Germany. Initial TV reports on the use of Skitrax mats and the Tubtrax module system. New brand positioning with Ski & Tubing & Water & Kart. Successful trade fair participation at Interalpin in Innsbruck and IAAPA in Paris.

2018

The first artificial ski areas and tubing runs are to be built in India. Close partnerships with individual governments are planned for the new artificial ski areas. Ice karting will be introduced in India. Mexico Expansion to 3 facilities. First TUBTRAX modular systems are being installed in Germany, Romania, Lithuania, Spain, France, and Austria. Production of start gates and kickers for airbag jumps has been expanded. Tubing tire production has been increased. A slopestyle park has opened in Germany. New water jumps are planned for Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, and Australia.

2017

The newly developed “Dry slope drain fleece©” transports water from the ski slopes and tubing runs. With the “Tubtrax©” modular system, we offer a novel modular system for tubing runs, from the start gate to straight sections and curves. The new “Slide Liquid© 2.0” is now available. The first Tubtrax tubing runs are being delivered to Portugal. The first inflatable tubing runs are opening in Portugal. The first tubing run with an airbag jump opens in Slovenia. New ski slopes are being planned in India, Canada, and Germany. Several large ice karting facilities are being built in Mexico. Wanda (China) opens a freestyle jump facility. World's largest indoor ski slope and amusement park (Harbin).

2016

Further development of plastic mats. New materials guarantee superior durability and longevity. Perfect in combination with the bio-based lubricant "Slide Liquid". New colors for the mats are now available. Large tubing runs, water jumps, and mat ski slopes in Russia, the USA, Turkey, and Egypt, among other places, are demonstrating new possibilities. Largest tubing track in Iran Construction is underway on a track with 3 lanes and a length of 70m.

2015

New products include metal curve constructions for tubing tracks. For the first time worldwide, a bio-based lubricant is being offered for synthetic tracks: "Slide Liquid" is silicone-free, biodegradable, water-repellent, and environmentally friendly. World's largest indoor water jumps in Minsk (BLR) and Outdoor in Park City (USA) are big fans of Skitrax. Also popular are slopestyle parks in Slovenia and tubing runs in Spain.

2014

In addition, there were large Matt ski areas in Slusovice (CZ), Bratislava (SK), tubing tracks in France, water jumps in Switzerland, innovative water jumps in France, and ski jumps in Bonn (GER). For tubing tracks, the innovative wooden constructions (using pressure-treated wood) have proven successful for curves and straight sections. This allows cities and ski resorts to offer tubing in the same locations in both winter and summer. We are expanding our product range (including our own tubing tires) to provide the necessary equipment for all the facilities. Ice karting with the new Skitrax Ice Karting systems is opening up a new, global business segment – we are presenting this with our importers at the world's leading trade fairs.

2013

The Skitrax SL (mat ski slopes), Skitrax TU (tubing), and Skitrax XC (cross-country) products were specified. Large speed tubing runs in Alicante (Spain), Heilbronn (Germany), and the USA utilize Skitrax. A new speed tubing run has recently been added in Granada (Spain). Collaborations with major conveyor belt manufacturers are leading to new partnerships with ski resorts and cities worldwide. The largest tubing run in Asia, designed for both summer and winter operation, is located in the ski resort. Shimbulak in Kazakhstan Opened. Ski tracks are being used for ski lifts during the Ski World Championships in Schladming. Renowned mountain railways like Kitzbühel and Serfaus are using the mats for boarding and disembarking skiers. Ski area Kosa Khutor Skitrax mats are used at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games.

2012

The fastest base combination based on polyethylene from Skitrax SP and "HDPE" tubes was presented as a world first. Many new ski resorts use our mats, for example: Sierra Nevada (SPA), Oberstdorf (GER), Bansko (BUL), Himos (FIN) and Megeve (FRA). The largest artificial ski slope in Eastern Europe, covering almost 3000 square meters, has opened in Bansko (Bulgaria). A large tubing park, over 100 meters long, has been built next to the slope.

2011

Many new customers and importers from around the world were acquired at the Interalpin trade fair. The new Skitrax JP and Skitrax HA systems were also presented there. This global innovation allows ski jumpers, for the first time, to glide, fly, and come to a stop in the outrun of the ski jump as if on snow. New ski resorts, tubing runs, water jumps, and outdoor & indoor fun parks are in the planning stages worldwide. With customized ski resort design, curves for tubing runs, tubing tires, and various obstacles for slopestyle parks, the service for customers "all about mat usage" is being further expanded.

2010

It was a year of new developments, with innovations like Skitrax FA and Skitrax SP. Skitrax SP introduced the fastest gliding base on the market. K2 Snowboard recognized this and built 10 movable ramps (Length approx. 20 m) with Skitrax SP for snowboarding in the city. The tour started in autumn 2010 and led to central locations in over 100 top cities throughout Europe. Florian Schmidt (member of the German Ski Cross National Team) was the first World Cup skier to be secured as a main sponsor.

In Austria, Skitrax are used, among other places, in ski resorts such as... Ellmau am Wilder Kaiser (Austria's largest interconnected ski area and No. 3 worldwide) is used for lift operations or at start gates for ski cross race training. In France, several summer tubing runs and ski resorts use the mats (including Les Orres, Les Rousses, Briançon Serre-Chevalier, Saint-Pierre de Charteuse, Mont Dore, etc.). Top Swiss ski resorts (including St. Moritz, Laax, Davos, Zermatt, Lenk, Adelboden, Samnaun Several thousand square meters are used in various ways for winter sports enthusiasts. Fun parks are developed for summer use, and the freestyle water ramps at Lake Thun (CH), Oberaudorf (GER), and Jyväskylä (FIN) attract many athletes. Large freestyle events (including Air & Style Innsbruck and Big Air Stuttgart) utilize the ski tracks for the steep inrun. This reduces the amount of snow required and allows for faster ramp preparation.

2009

Many top international ski resorts were supplied with mats: St. Moritz, Zermatt, Davos (CH), Ellmau (AUT), Sudelfeld (GER), etc. The German Ski Association uses Skitrax for a training course for the alpine national ski cross and snowboard teams at the Olympic Training Center (OSP) in Munich. At Lake Luegstein in Oberaudorf (Bavaria), the large VIKING Freestyle water ramp Used by slopestyle and freestyle skiers. The only one in Germany.

2008
