Winters with little snow are increasingly posing major challenges for ski resorts. It is precisely during the busiest holiday seasons that the last few meters of snow are often missing in the valley, on practice slopes, or on important connecting trails. Our modular sliding mats create snow-sure slopes where natural snow or artificial snowmaking reach their limits. Even short sections of 30 to 150 meters are sufficient to make beginner slopes, valley runs, connecting sections, or ski school areas permanently skiable. Larger systems can be expanded at any time.

Alpine skiing or snowboarding in the city during the summer is cool, trendy, uncomplicated, and affordable. There are many countries around the world that don't experience snow, but their inhabitants would still love to ski. With our artificial ski slopes, this is now possible. This also applies to countries that do experience winters with snow, but where snowfall is unfortunately becoming increasingly scarce. Here's the solution.

The average length of a ski slope is 30-150 meters. However, there are also ski areas that are over 1000 meters long. Depending on the size and requirements, the ski mats can be laid out to create an alpine ski area. Expansion is always possible later. They can be used year-round, even when snow falls on them during the winter months.

The base can be made of sand, wood, or cement. It should be free of stones. A geotextile fabric is laid on this surface, and the SlopeTrax are then attached to it using special twisted ground anchors.

The diamond design of the gliding mats ensures particularly environmentally friendly skiing. We call this... Green Skiing The grass can grow through the mats and is "shaved" daily by the ski edges of the skiers. This creates a firm bond with the ground and a natural ski slope.
