General questions:
  • Seek initial discussions with decision-makers at the regional authorities.

Obtain regional building regulations and discuss implementation options with regional authorities regarding the operation of a ski slope, tubing run, water jump, or go-kart track. This also applies to applying for potential EU subsidies for the new project. We will compile the necessary documents for you to ensure these discussions are productive. Should further documentation be required, we are happy to assist with the process. If these steps are successful, further detailed planning can commence. This approach has proven highly effective in recent years for keeping the effort and costs of the desired project manageable.

  • What size are the mats?

The mats are square and measure 22x22 cm. The flexible nubs are 20 mm high and provide excellent grip for the skis, even during extreme carving. The desired surface can be created by connecting the mats. The mats can also be easily pulled apart again.

  • Can the mats be combined in terms of color?

Yes. The mats can be combined in different colors. By connecting the colored mats, pixel-like letters can also be created that indicate the name of the leisure facilities or allow for advertising by external companies.

  • Do the mats have integrated UV protection?

Yes, the special additive provides a high level of UV protection. Our mats can be used without problems on all six continents, even in strong sunlight.

  • Can the mats be rolled up?

Yes, the mats are rigid, but can be laid flexibly on the floor over uneven surfaces (e.g., moguls). They are also suitable for rolling indoor ski slopes!

  • Are the mats suitable for indoor ski treadmill systems?

They are also well-suited for indoor ski roller systems. Depending on the required length of the roller system, the mats can be connected together. Small, flexible gate poles for slalom training can also be attached.

  • Who installs the mats?

Customers can assemble the mats themselves, thus designing their own recreational area. Of course, we offer our assistance with both small and large installations.

  • How are the mats disposed of?

After many years of successful use, the mats can be disposed of normally via the local recycling center.

  • Are the mats environmentally friendly?

Yes, because it's possible to simply lay the mats out on the lawn, for example. This allows for the creation of large ski areas where the grass isn't damaged, as it can grow through! The skiers cut the grass with the edges of the mats. The grass is treated in an environmentally friendly way and thus complies with the requirements of environmental protection authorities.

  • COVID-19 Safety!

Local instructions and regulations must be observed, and appropriate measures must be taken to protect visitors. In particular, regional hygiene regulations regarding the possible use of face masks in indoor and outdoor areas must be implemented. There are generally no specific regulations preventing skiing on the slopes. Nevertheless, regional authorities must grant permission. The necessary safety distances must be maintained at lifts and conveyor belts.
